You know what, I am the worst at posting my own trips. I realized long ago that I forgot to post my Morocco trip from 2024 completely. BUT I remembered this one! Back in May I had the opportunity to go a to a new-to-me country and I chose Türkiye. On the way over, I stopped in Prague for one night to meet up with my best friend who lives in the Czech Republic. It was only a few hours that I got to see her, but it did my heart good.

They chose to split their stay between Dublin and Galway, opting for more time in each destination to immerse themselves more fully than bopping around quickly. Read MoreLast fall, I had the pleasure to take a river cruise down the Rhine (technically, we went north, but it was downstream so I’ll say down). We started in Basel, Switzerland, going through France, Germany, and ending in Amsterdam. This is the route that many newbies to river cruises like to start with, because it is the river that has over 40 castles in a 40 mile stretch. It was great to sit and watch as they passed by, with a delicious hot chocolate or two in hand.

They love good food, so they were excited to spend time in Florence before heading to Cinque Terre and enjoying relaxing there.
