Hiking the Dolomites: Italy - 2026

One of my longtime clients who loves to travel solo recently returned from a hiking tour of the Dolomites. He came in a few days early to spend some time in Venice beforehand, and enjoyed getting lost in the canals. Once on the tour, he had a great time checking out the small towns and beautiful landscapes of the mountains.

He got to enjoy a local apple strudel at the summit of Strudelkopf, saw and explored the Earth Pyramids of Platten, had a cheese tasting at a local cooperative near Percha, navigated through Ampezza Dolomites Natural Park, had free time in Cortina d’Ampezzo to shop or relax, and took the cable car to the Monte Elmo Summit.

He couldn’t have asked for a better trip!
