Cruising down the Rhine River - Switzerland, Germany, France, & the Netherlands - 2025

Last fall, I had the pleasure to take a river cruise down the Rhine (technically, we went north, but it was downstream so I’ll say down). We started in Basel, Switzerland, going through France, Germany, and ending in Amsterdam. This is the route that many newbies to river cruises like to start with, because it is the river that has over 40 castles in a 40 mile stretch. It was great to sit and watch as they passed by, with a delicious hot chocolate or two in hand.

Roadtrip (+ some trains) through Europe - 2025

When grandpa has 6 sets of positive space tickets on Delta and invites you to go with on a monthlong journey to Europe with him and grandma, you say, “Yes!” That’s what happened with this family, as they decided to do a longer exploration starting in London, and making their way through Paris to Amsterdam for a European roadtrip that comprised 5 countries by the time they returned the rental car.

Solo Trip to France & Spain - 2023

My client took was a walking trip from Avignon, France to Barcelona, Spain with a group of other travelers. However she started her trip in Paris, enjoying a few nights in a cool boutique hotel before taking the train down to Avignon and staying there a bit before her tour started. After her walking tour ended, she enjoyed a few days in Barcelona before heading home!

Honeymoon to England, Scotland, & France - 2023

My clients wanted a trifecta of honeymoon experiences: Enjoying London, Edinburgh, and Paris. Their time in Edinburgh overlapped both the Fringe Art Festival and the Scottish Military Tattoo performances, in London they were lucky enough to be able to catch a performance of Macbeth at the Globe Theater, and Paris meant romance, and they enjoyed checking out the palace of Versailles, a culture tour through the Marais neighborhood, and of course the Eiffel Tower.
