England and Netherlands - 10 Days
This repeat client is back with his son for an exciting 10-day journey through England and the Netherlands, mixing history, culture, and a bit of football action! They’re gearing up to experience some of the best sites, stories, and sports the two countries have to offer.
Itinerary
Day 1 – Amsterdam
They’ll kick things off by settling into their hotel and soaking up Amsterdam’s charming vibe - think canals, bikes, and cozy cafés everywhere. It’s the perfect way to ease into the adventure.
Day 2 – Amsterdam
Today, they’ll visit the Anne Frank House, a deeply moving stop that brings history to life in the most personal way. It’s a chance to reflect and appreciate how powerful stories can be.
Day 3 – The Hague
After a scenic train ride, they’ll arrive in The Hague and check into their hotel before hitting the streets on a private walking tour. This city’s full of stories—from Dutch Parliament drama to royal secrets!
Day 4 – London
Time to hop on the train to London and settle into their hotel near Victoria. The buzz of the city is contagious, and they’ll be ready to dive right in.
Day 5 – London
They’ll step back in time on a WW2 walking tour, learning how Londoners kept calm and carried on during the Blitz. The visit to Churchill’s War Rooms is like stepping into a real-life spy movie!
Day 6 – London
Today’s all about ticking off the big London sights with skip-the-line tickets—no waiting, just exploring. From the Tower of London to Westminster Abbey, it’s history with a VIP pass.
Day 7 – Stonehenge & Avebury
They’ll venture out to the mysterious stone circles of Stonehenge and Avebury, soaking up ancient vibes and some seriously cool stories. These places are perfect for a little awe and wonder.
Day 8 – Wimbledon
A visit to the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum means rubbing shoulders with tennis legends—well, almost! Interactive exhibits and trophies make it a fun day for any sports fan.
Day 9 – Sheffield
Next up, Sheffield! Known for its green spaces and friendly locals, it’s a great spot for a father and son to explore and maybe even find a new favorite hangout. Plenty of history and charm here to keep them busy.
Day 10 – Nottingham & Football
To top it off, they’ll catch a thrilling Nottingham Forest vs. Brighton game before heading back to London. What better way to end a trip than with some live football excitement?
