Graduation Trips Instead of Parties - June 11, 2025

May and June are often filled with graduation parties which are fun to attend but can be expensive to host. If you've got someone graduating in 2026, why not do a graduation trip instead of a party? I can guarantee the memories made from a memorable trip will last much longer than those from a grad party!

Here are some ideas to throw around with your future graduate:

• Europe - If you student took a European language such as Spanish, French, Italian, or German as a foreign language, this would be a great time to get some real world practice in. June begins the high season though, so best start planning early!

• Asia - Chinese is another oft taken language, or if your student is one who enjoyed learning about US diplomacy, Vietnam and Japan are full of history. Southeast Asia is a relatively inexpensive place to visit, whereas Japan tends towards a higher budget.

• Africa - For those with more interest in a zoological nature, why not plan to do a safari? June is a great time for safaris in east Africa as it is dry season and wildlife is easier to spot, but South Africa also has great safaris, and there are always gorilla treks in places like Uganda and Rwanda.
