A hunting adventure paired with world-class wines and the best of Buenos Aires.

Argentina – 8 Days

This month, I'm planning a trip to Argentina for clients who won a three-day bird hunt at an auction. They start out in Buenos Aires, exploring the city and taking in a tango show with dinner before they head on to Cordoba for a bird hunting trip. Once the hunting portion wraps up, they'll continue on to experience another side of the country with a stay in Mendoza's famous wine region before finishing their trip in Buenos Aires for a final night.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Buenos Aires 

They'll arrive in Buenos Aires and head out on a private city tour featuring landmarks like Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada, Avenida 9 de Julio, and the colorful La Boca neighborhood. The day finishes with dinner and the famous Rojo Tango show at the Faena Hotel.

Day 2 - Buenos Aires

Today is left open to relax and enjoy Buenos Aires at their own pace before continuing to the next part of the trip. Whether they choose to explore more of the city, enjoy the hotel, or try another local restaurant, it's a chance to take in the atmosphere before heading to the countryside.

Day 3 - Bird Hunt 

They'll travel to Flyways Lodge to begin the bird hunt they won at auction. This unique experience was arranged separately and offers the opportunity to enjoy one of Argentina's premier hunting destinations.

Day 4 - Bird Hunt 

Another day is spent at Flyways Lodge enjoying the hunting experience before wrapping up this portion of the trip. It's a memorable way to experience a completely different side of Argentina.

Day 5 - Mendoza Wine Country

After the hunt, they'll fly to Mendoza and check in at The Vines Resort & Spa in the beautiful Uco Valley. Surrounded by the Andes, the resort is also home to a restaurant by renowned Argentine chef Francis Mallmann, making it a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the region's food and wine.

Day 6 - Valle de Uco Wine Tour

Today's private wine tour takes them to three renowned wineries throughout the Valle de Uco. Along with tastings of exceptional local wines, they'll enjoy spectacular mountain views and lunch at one of the wineries.

Day 7 - Buenos Aires 

They'll return to Buenos Aires for one final night before their journey home. After checking back into the Faena Hotel, they'll have the rest of the day free to revisit a favorite neighborhood, enjoy another great meal, or simply relax.

Day 8 - Final Day in Buenos Aires

With a late check-out arranged, they'll have extra time to enjoy the hotel or fit in some last-minute sightseeing before their evening transfer to the airport. It's a relaxed way to wrap up their time in Argentina before the journey home.
