A family-friendly Costa Rica adventure filled with wildlife and pura vida!
Costa Rica – 6 Days
This repeat client is heading to Costa Rica with their family during the kids’ school break, looking for a destination full of wildlife, national parks, and exciting hands-on activities. They wanted something more adventurous than a typical beach vacation, and this itinerary gives them the perfect mix of animals, active experiences, and pura vida fun.
Itinerary
Day 1 - Guanacaste, Costa Rica
After arriving in Liberia, the family heads to their resort in Guanacaste to settle in and enjoy a relaxed first evening together.
Day 2 - Palo Verde National Park
Today’s river cruise through Palo Verde offers the chance to spot birds, crocodiles, monkeys, and other wildlife. After lunch, they’ll visit Guaitil to meet local pottery artisans and see traditional Chorotega crafts.
Day 3 - Diamante Adventure Park
The morning starts at Diamante’s Animal Sanctuary, home to rescued sloths, jaguars, monkeys, and more. Next, they’ll take on the ocean-view zip line for a thrilling family adventure before visiting the botanical gardens to learn about coffee, sugar cane, chocolate, and Costa Rican traditions.
Day 4 - Surf Lesson in Tamarindo
In Tamarindo, the family will enjoy a two-hour surf lesson, perfect for learning the basics and catching gentle waves. It’s an active, hands-on way to enjoy the Pacific coast and Costa Rica’s beautiful scenery.
Day 5 - Free Day in Guanacaste
A full day to relax or explore. Whether it’s time on the beach, wandering the local area, or just enjoying the resort, the family can soak up their last day at their own pace.
Day 6 - Goodbye, Pura Vida
A private transfer brings them to Liberia Airport for their flight home, wrapping up a family adventure full of wildlife, nature, and unforgettable Costa Rican memories.
