I love it when families make it a priority to travel with their kids. It’s definitely something the kids remember for the rest of their lives. Check out the photos from a recent family’s trip to Iceland and Ireland!
Read MoreSometimes it’s nice to get away to a resort, where you don’t have to think about what you’ll have for dinner, or what you’ll do each day. My clients wanted that for themselves, as they wanted to take a “friends trip” together and just spend some time away with each other. They chose Mexico and enjoyed their time on the resort a lot!
Read MoreMy clients decided they wanted to go visit some special places in Germany & Austria that their ancestors were from and I was able to put it all together for them, making it a memorable time of sisterly bonding for them. They enjoyed exploring Munich, saw a few castles, explored a namesake distillery in Berchtesgaden, enjoyed a couple days in Salzburg (including a classical concert in the famous Mirabell Palace) and then finished off in Stuttgart before heading back home.
Read MoreColombia is one of my favorite places - it is such a beautiful country, with LOADS of nature to see and experience, and the people there are just lovely and kind. So when my client Rebecca came to me asking me to plan a 30th anniversary celebration for her and her husband, I was eager to suggest Colombia based on what she said they enjoyed seeing and doing together.
Read MoreSpain is a beautiful country anytime you go, but my clients happened to be there when it turned downright magical - Semana Santa (Holy Week). During this week, churches go full out with parades and performances, and it seems that around every corner there is something unique to be seen.
Read MorePuerto Rico - a wonderful Caribbean island that offers both historical sites as well as unique natural wonder - is where my clients James & Laura recently explored. It is a great first foray into the Caribbean islands as it is a US territory and thus doesn’t require a passport to visit. You can get a taste for the warm sun and beaches with just a state ID!
Read MoreMy clients were looking for a relaxing yet adventurous ecotourism vacation. They’d been to Belize (another of my top ecotourism destinations, as you can see from other past trips), and they had enjoyed Barbados and Grenada as cruise stops already. They were looking for something where they could sit on the beach yet still enjoy some excursions that were unique, so Costa Rica was selected!
Read MoreJeff & Kathleen had gotten married during COVID, and wanted to book their honeymoon now that restrictions had started being lifted. They are both adventurous people - enjoying hiking, snowmobiling, and generally being outside in nature - but also wanted a component of relaxation and being able to sit at the beach. Belize was just the ticket for them, with a split stay between rainforest and caye. They enjoyed the pace of it and the adventure, saying “All we had to do was show up ready for our next experience!”
Read MoreA wonderful family of 5 decided that they needed to spend their winter break in Paris and Denmark, meeting and staying with family friends for some of the time, and exploring a bit on their own as well.
Read MoreCuba - so close, yet seemingly so far away to US citizens. Or so many people think! But I am here to tell ya, WE CAN EXPERIENCE CUBA! Sure, there are some extra hoops to jump through, but that's what a good travel agent (who has experienced it firsthand) is for!
Read MoreWay down at the southernmost tip of South America lies the region known as Patagonia. Spanning through Chile and Argentina, it is a mountainous area popular with hikers. My client, Rich, wanted to get away from his desk and truly experience the beauty of the outdoors.
Read MoreThis year I got to send a lovely family of 5 (parents, kids, and grandma) there and they had a blast as well. They explored Cartagena, Salento, and Bogota over the course of 10 days, enjoying equal parts of cultural immersion and time to explore on their own.

Tyler surprised Whitney with a romantic sunset dinner on the beach, as well, making this trip one that will be remembered for the rest of their lives.
Read MoreAhhh the Galapagos, a bucket list item for probably 80% of the population! Heather and her 2 girls have had this in the works for a couple years now and finally got to experience the trip at long last in July. The Galapagos Islands are part of Ecuador, just a quick plane jump away from Quito. Often they are seen via small ship cruise, however Heather and her girls opted for land based to ensure they could room together.
Read MoreThough I typically book international trips, I have a handful of clients who desire to experience the culture of domestic locations. Rich P. decided he wanted to start out retirement by going out into nature and experiencing the great outdoors. He’d been stuck behind a desk for his whole career and wanted to stretch his legs and see natural beauty. To start with, he chose Yosemite National Park.
Read MoreBelize is an up and coming destination - this is my second trip of 2022 that I’ve planned for clients! It’s no wonder though, with the diversity of activities (a great country for water activities like snorkeling and SCUBA, as well as the jungle interior for hiking, ziplining, and animal lovers).
Read MoreTom B. recently returned from a last minute trip to Peru over spring break. His birthday coincided with the trip, and he really wanted to be hiking and experiencing the amazing beauty of the Andes on his birthday. He reached out to me to plan the trip about a month prior to the departure date, so I crafted a solo trek (with English speaking guide) for him. He followed the Salkantay Trek, and was the only participant, so could go at his own pace.

Conveniently located within a day of most places in the US, it is the sole country in Central America that boasts English as the official language, making it a perfect place to begin your globe trotting bucket list.
Read MoreMorocco - aromatic spices, picturesque markets, arid desert - this exotic destination is sure to please the senses! Beth P. was able to experience an in depth, immersive tour of Marrakech and followed a path of a local tribe of nomads. If you’ve only ever thought of Casablanca, Marrakech or Chefchaouen when you think of Morocco, you’ve got to consider expanding your experience to the more rural areas!
Read MoreMany people’s first impression when they think of traveling to Colombia is danger. This stems from tv shows such as Narcos and what was the very real danger of travel within Colombia 20 years ago. However, this is no longer the reality of travel in this biodiverse country! I recently returned from a week in Colombia and loved every minute of it.
